Barbados: The National Disabilities Unit (NDU) will organise the final stage of the series of Outdoor Movie Nights on March 26, 2022 (Saturday), which will begin at 6:30 PM. This movie night has been organised by the disabilities unit, in collaboration with Media Resource Department.
The Outdoor movie nights were being celebrated to mark the “Month of the Disabled”.
The minister of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs will attend the last movie night, Kirk Humphrey.
According to the Barbadian government, the movies to be shown on the last night are Incredible 2 and Fernando.
The authorities have further invited all and notified that “the admission is free and refreshments will be on sale”.
On March 1, members of the public announced that every Saturday during March would be a movie night for the disabled community to mark the Month of the Disabled.
The first of these movie nights took place on March 5, at the National Disabilities Unit (NDU), St Michael, beginning at 6:30 PM, followed by movies on March 12, 19, and 26, at the same place and time.
The movies shown during the month included Spiderman, Sing 2, The Incredibles 2, and Black Panther.
The hosting authorities asked the interested persons to walk with their blankets and come out for a night under the stars.
