St Kitts and Nevis: The Government of the twin-island Federation has shared a Water Supply Notice on March 31, 2022. The notice was made public to inform the public about the penalty to be imposed under the watercourse and waterworks act.

The Government warned the general public and stated, “The water services Department wishes to alert the General Public that it is an offense under the watercourse and waterworks Act to “resist, obstruct, molest or assault any member of the water services Department in the course of his/her duties.”

The government has announced that the penalty capped by the government for such an offense is up to six months imprisonment.
