Lukinovich Theobald arrested under an operation conducted by Guyana officials
A 41-year-old Lukinovich Theobald alias ‘Redman’, was arrested following the intelligence-led operation conducted by the Grove Police Station, East Bank Demerara, Guyana, on Sunday.

Guyana: A 41-year-old Lukinovich Theobald alias ‘Redman’, was arrested following an intelligence-led operation conducted by the Grove Police Station, East Bank Demerara, Guyana, on Sunday.
It is to be noted that the authorities received information about the suspect’s possession of illegal items. Upon receiving the information, the authorities responded to the matter, reached the suspect’s premises, and conducted the search.
The suspect, Lukinovich Theobald, is a resident of Friendship Squatting Area, East Bank Demerara, Guyana. The higher-ranked officers carried out an entire search of Lukinovich Theobald’s home but found nothing evident.
Subsequently, a search was also carried out by the officers of Guyana at the back of the yard, which is well-fenced. During the search, the officials found one plastic bag in a clump of bushes. The authorities also conducted a search of the bag, and the bags contained three parcels of suspected Marijuana.
The suspect, Lukinovich Theobald, was arrested and taken to the Grove Police Station. He was later escorted to the Narcotics Unit at Regional 4B Headquarters at Golden Grove. The suspect marijuana was weighed by the officers, and it weighed 1.95 kg.

Notably, Lukinovich Theobald is still in custody of the officers and is assisting the authorities with the further investigation process.
Various residents of the community took to their social media accounts and expressed their views on the matter. One person with a Facebook account, Myck Earle, commented, “That’s all the police force good for to catch people with weed and the real criminal is enjoying outside.”
“Free him; he has a family to support right now. Things are hard out there,” wrote Melani Seaforth.
Another person with a social media handle, Januell Nedd, commented the following: “These police are too wicked; weed is a plant. Go and look for the woman killer, but these police officers would not go there.”
