LIAT 2020 added another route, St Kitts and Nevis to its growing network by marking its inaugural flight to the country on Monday, 2nd September 2024. With these flight services, the airline aims to enhance its connectivity across the Eastern Caribbean region.
The newly revived airline which is making its waves by announcing nonstop routes, operates from its home bases in Antigua, Dominica, St. Lucia, and Barbados. And, in this list, St Kitts has also been included in order to offer seamless and enhanced travel options to all visitors.
Moreover, with their partnership with Air Peace, LIAT 2020 is planning to launch flights from Africa. This collaboration and strategies are aiming to create a more hassle-free gateway for all those travellers who are heading to St Kitts and Nevis or any other Caribbean territories.
While shedding light on these services, the Chief Executive Officer of LIAT 2020, Hafsa Abdusalam stated that the airline service is expected to increase from a 5-day operation to a 7-day operation by November 2024.
He added that LIAT 2020 will also expand its connectivity to other Caribbean regions such as St. Vincent, Grenada, Tortola, St. Maarten, Guyana, Trinidad, and Panama.
While emphasising the services of the airline, he stated that LIAT 2020 is focused to provide a comfortable and memorable travel experiences to all the passengers with the affordable and competitive ticket prices.
St Kitts, Dominica, Barbados, Antigua and Saint Lucia are all tourist attractions with different cultural properties, beautiful scenery and a diverse population. The establishment of these new routes is likely to play a huge role in enhancing tourism sector of the Caribbean region.
LIAT 2020 is a more streamlined and effective carrier which aims to offer sustainable and reliable customer services. And, the coming back of the LIAT is aiming to be a great development for the tourism sector of country.

Notably, LIAT 2020’s inaugural flight to St. Kitts also coincides with the 31st-anniversary celebration of St. Christopher Air and Sea Port Authority. The authorities stated that it is not just a port authority but a story of dedication, resilience, and growth.
In their 31 years of celebration, the authorities of SCASPA promised to continue to create innovations in order to prioritize the smooth and efficient landing of the airlines and ports to the island nation.
And, the arrival of the inaugural flight of LIAT 2020 to St Kitts and Nevis marks the positive economic growth in the region, enhancing the overall growth and development of the country.
