Kingston: 24 rounds of ammunition seized in Burger Gully community

Kingston, Jamaica: The police have recovered 24 rounds of ammunition in the Burger Gully community in Kingston 2. The department has expressed its commitment to work consistently to fight against such criminal activities in the countries.

According to the reports, the investigating officers received information regarding the ammunition in the community of Burger Gully near Mountain View.

They responded to the matter and conducted an anti-crime operation in the mentioned location. They searched the premises of the area Kingston 2, which has resulted in the recovery of the following items.

  • Three 5.56 mm rounds of ammunition
  • Two .38 special rounds of ammunition
  • Nineteen 45 mm rounds of ammunition

The police officers took the findings to the police division for further investigation. Unfortunately, no arrest was made as they found nobody across the area, whom the findings belong to.

The deceased was identified as 36-year-old Sheldon Shakes, who hailed as a farmer from the Town Head District of Burnt Savannah.

Noting this, both the injured men were taken to the Savanna-la-Mar Public General Hospital by the people who attended the party. The doctors began their treatment, but Shakes succumbed to injuries during ongoing treatment, while others are still undergoing medical procedures.
