Montserrat: The Programme Management Office delightedly welcomed Jevon West to the team. Jevon joined the organisation as the Project Officer for the implementation of the new Health Information System within the Health and Social Services Ministry.
The implementation of the new Health Information System is a critical part of the Health Service Transformation portfolio, supporting broader systems modernisation and operational improvement. The new system to be rolled out through this project will support the digitisation of existing medical records and the introduction of a new electronic database and information system for the healthcare sector.
Jevon brings diverse experience as a qualified HR professional and more than twelve years of experience across project management, change implementation, data and risk management and customer service. Importantly, West brings practical experience in ensuring that electronic systems are implemented, properly maintained and remediated as well as bringing systems, processes and policies up to date and in line with legislation and operating requirements.
On his appointment, Jevon remarked, “I am pleased to return to Montserrat and to take up this important role in the country’s development. I have been heavily involved in delivering projects which facilitate the seamless transition from manual or paper-based files to electronic databases and systems while working for global organisations and companies. As such,, I possess a strong track record of successful project implementation, supplier/stakeholder management, and systems testing & development. I have also garnered a vast amount of experience and knowledge in relation to managing large volumes of data, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and risk management – all of which I look forward to putting to positive use as Montserrat begins this journey within the healthcare sector.”
Beyond his professional profile, Jevon is also a keen horticulturalists, cook, cyclist, and wine producer. So, please raise a glass to our newest team member!
This role is funded by the Capital Investment Programme for Resilient Economic Growth (CIPREG).
