The Grenada Tourism Authority is all set to welcome the Royal Caribbean’s Rhapsody of the Seas today, 9th July, which will bring much-needed relief supplies along in order to assist and support them following the devastating effects of Hurricane Beryl.

The Grenada Tourism Authority is all set to welcome the Royal Caribbean’s Rhapsody of the Seas today, 9th July, which will bring much-needed relief supplies along in order to assist and support them following the devastating effects of Hurricane Beryl. The cruise will also bring over 2000 visitors to the nation, which marks the positive growth for not only the tourism sector but the economy as well.
As per the details, the ship’s crew will be delivering 15 tons of fuel in order to aid in the recovery efforts. This crucial donation of fuel will play a huge role in powering crucial services in order to display the strong partnership and support from the Royal Caribbean during this challenging time.
Also, the Chairman of the Grenada Tourism Authority, Randall Donald stated that their assistance in the time of need is combined with the arrival of visitors which outlines the depth of the partnership they share. He further added that the arrival of the Royal Caribbean’s Rhapsody of the Seas is a clear signal to the world that Grenada is open for business and welcoming visitors with open arms.
The arrival of the cruise to the port of Grenada is a testament to the unwavering commitment and dedication of the authorities towards improving the conditions in the island nation and bringing it back to its normalcy after the Beryl.
Moreover, the President of National Taxi Association, Cosmos Williams stated that they will make all its possible efforts in order to offer an unforgettable experience to all the visitors arrived in the shores.
Also, the Grenada Tourism Authority is optimistic that the arrival of the cruise will not only bring relief supplies but will also open doors to several opportunities for the local citizens. They stated that it is a great opportunity for the accommodation, transportation and several sectors to showcase their offerings and attract large number of tourists.
