Grammy award winners Sean Paul and Kes to produce ICC T20 World Cup’s official anthem

The International Cricket Council made an announcement that Grammy award-winning artists namely Sean Paul and Soca Superstar Kes have collaborated to produce the official anthem for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.

The track, produced by Michael Tano Montano, will be launched in the coming weeks along with the music video. As per the announcement, the music video will feature several renowned superstars from all over the world.

Sean Paul is a Jamaican dancehall artist and record producer who has won multiple Grammy awards, made its position in the Billboard Music Awards, and many more. While expressing gratitude for this great opportunity, he stated that “Cricket has always played a huge role in our culture, and he is really honored to record the anthem for the T20 World Cup.”

In his collaboration with Kes, he said that he is his huge fan and they will record such a track which will have a touch of the Caribbean culture and will also offer an international vibe and Soca music.

Meanwhile, in Trinidad and Tobago’s eclectic outfit, Kes Dieffenthaller is well-known for some of Caribbean music’s memorable anthems. With the official anthem for the ICC World Cup, he aims to bring the world together with a powerful combination of music.

Moreover, the organizers of the event stated that the production of the anthem is in full swing. The track will relay in the entire world when 20 nations will come together to compete for the trophy and title of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.

The 2024 edition of the T20 World Cup will take place from 1st June to 29th June 2024 in the venues of six Caribbean nations and three venues in the United States of America. The venues where the matches will take place include Saint Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago, Antigua and Barbuda, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Barbados, Guyana, Dallas, New York and Florida.

The 2023 official anthem of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup was “Dil Jashn Bole” and it was a collaboration between Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh and composer Pritam. It was loved by the audiences a lot and the organizers hope that this year’s anthem will be loved equally.
