Dominica: PM Skerrit invitees Dominicans to attend the launch another component of housing unit
Dominica: Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit invited the skilled and semi-skilled youth to the Windsor Park Stadium on July 16, 2022 (Saturday).

                                                    Dominica: Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit invited the skilled and semi-skilled youth to the Windsor Park Stadium on July 16, 2022 (Saturday) as the government has been planning to launch another component of the housing unit –Future Housing Programme. The event will commence from 11 am to 5 pm, PM Skerrit informed.
Prime Minister Skerrit informed, “On Saturday (July 16) at 11 am one another component of housing unit will be announced at the Windsor Park Stadium.”
Earlier, on July 14 (Thursday) the government of Dominica handed over the keys to 57 individuals under the Housing Recovery Project, initiated by the government of Dominica. The keys were handed over during a ceremony at the State House Conference Centre.
PM Skerrit took social media and stated, “Fifty-seven (57) individuals are now the proud recipients of new homes under the Government of Dominica’s Housing Recovery Project.

He further lauded the world bank for the funds provided by it. He added, “With loan funds from the World Bank, 420 houses, destroyed by Hurricane Maria, will be rebuilt to more resilient standards. The Government of Dominica remains true to its commitment to provide all citizens with the opportunity to own a home and secure brighter futures for their families.”
He later took a moment to congratulate the recipients, “I congratulate the beneficiaries and wish them well.”
