Dominica: PM Roosevelt Skerrit applauds Labour Youth in Roseau South

Roseau, Dominica: Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, expressed a glimpse of his visit to the Roseau South. During the visit, PM Skerrit met with the members of the Labour Youth of the constituency and discussed various essential topics.

He highlighted that he spent some hours of his evening with the young members of the Dominica Labour Party following the executive elections of their LYO.

Prime Minister Skerrit highlighted that the youth has been working tirelessly to promote and encourage the agenda of the Labour Party. He further lauded and praised them for their outstanding work.

PM Roosevelt Skerrit shared the update through his social media and mentioned, “Last evening, I spent some time with the Labour Youth of Roseau South as they conducted elections for the executive of their LYO.”

Furthermore, he added that the young people ran their campaign in the true spirit of Labour over the past week, and he commended them for their outreach to the more vulnerable in their communities.

In addition to this, PM Skerrit congratulated the candidate who secured victory in the elections. He also assured that he and his government will extend support to the winner and his constituency.

“I would like to congratulate the winning candidates. I pledge my full support and look forward to working with them,” the post by Prime Minister read.

This gesture by Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit was appreciated by the general public of the Commonwealth of Dominica.
