The Ministry of National Security and Home Affairs has informed the general public that the Registry Division would be closed from March 25 to March 29.

National Security and Home Affairs Ministry informs public about closure of Registry Division

Dominica: The Ministry of National Security and Home Affairs has informed the general public that the Registry Division would be closed for around five (5) days – from March 25 to March 29. The registries would be closed are – Supreme Court Registry, Land Titles Registry and Civil Registry.

“The Ministry of National Security and Home Affairs has informed the general public that the Registry Division would be closed which includes the Supreme Court Registry, Land Titles Registry and Civil Registry will be closed for business from March 25, 2022 to March 29, 2022 to facilitate the relocation of the Registry Division,” the Dominican government informed.

As per the press note by the ministry, the Registry Division will resume the service to the public from its new location on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the General Post Office Building located at the corner of Dame Mary Eugenia Charles Blvd and Hillsborough Street.

The government has further apologized from the general public. “We apologies for any inconvenience caused to the public during the brief period of closure and we look forward to serving you at our new and improved location,” the government stated.

The government has further shared update on the Population and Housing Census 2021. The government stated that the Central Statistics Office has commenced the recruitment for enumerators to conduct the 2021 National Census.
