Roseau, Dominica: The Parliamentary Representative of the Roseau Constituency of the Commonwealth of Dominica – Melissa Poponne Skerrit, has recently organized and hosted a small Mother’s Day event in honour of all the mothers across the globe. She extended her heartiest greeting to the Dominican mothers while welcoming them to the celebration event, where she acknowledged the significant role that they played throughout their lives.
According to the recently shared updates, Parliamentary Representative Melissa Skerrit took to her official social media account in order to share her gratitude and pride towards the mothers of the country. Through her Facebook caption, she also delivered her remarks during the celebration event, where she outlined the major impacts and essential contributions of mothers in their households along with the nation.
Melissa Skerrit further extended her remarks while expressing her happiness about being part of the Mother’s Day celebration event; she noted that “It was an honour to host a small Mother’s Day event for some of the mothers in my constituency.”
Furthermore, it was also stated that during the celebration event of Mother’s Day, the Parliamentary Representative of the Roseau Constituency, Melissa Skerrit took it to convey that Mothers of the country should be highly praised and applauded for the immense sacrifices that they made for their loved ones throughout their life. She stressed that mothers are real-life examples and symbols of pure love, care and sacrifice.
