St Kitts and Nevis: Leader of Concerned Citizens’ Movement (CCM) and Premier of Nevis – Mark Brantley met many Nevisian personalities from different sectors on March 29, 2022 (Tuesday). During the meeting, Nevis’ Premier discussed various aspects to improve and encourage opportunities in the respective sectors.

Firstly, Brantley met the new Executive of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, where they discussed a new partnership between the Nevis Island Administration and the business community in Nevis and the wider Federation.

He further stated he has been encouraging the business owners and operators in Nevis to join Chamber.

Premier Nevis took Twitter and mentioned, “Held an excellent meeting with the new Executive of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce this morning discussing a renewed partnership between the Nevis Island Administration and the business community in Nevis and the wider Federation. I encourage business owners and operators in Nevis to join the Chamber and take advantage of the immense business opportunities, training, and development that is on offer.”

Furthermore, he had an interaction with the IICA representative in the Eastern Caribbean to discuss the ongoing strong partnership in Agriculture between IICA and the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis.

“Truly delighted to welcome home to Nevis my friend Gregg Rawlins, IICA representative in the Eastern Caribbean, and to discuss the ongoing strong partnership in Agriculture between IICA and the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis. Also delighted to meet Ms Jones, the in-country coordinator, who is doing great work in the Federation as we seek valiantly to achieve greater food security,” Premier added.

Meanwhile, he also expressed honour on meeting members of the Nevis Historical and Conservation Society and the Alexander Hamilton Awareness Society. During the meeting, the leaders discussed plans for a major event celebrating Nevisian-born American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton.

He concluded his work with a meeting with the public personality Duncan Big Lice Wattley at the famous Mem’s Pizzeria in Nevis. “Big Lice spoke to me about the State of Affairs in St Kitts and Nevis,” Premier of Nevis stated.
