Athletic Club of Port of Spain secured the first position in Week 9 of Trinidad and Tobago Premier Football League as of 20th January 2024.

As per the points table, AC Port of Spain clinched the top spot in the league standings as they lead the points table with 18 points. The team has played eight games, out of which they have won 7 and lost 1.
Miscellaneous Police Football Club and Defence Force Football Club are in the second and third spots, respectively. Miscellaneous Police FC has won 5, lost one game and drawn 3 out of 9 games they have played, scoring 18 points. Defence Force Football Club is in third position with 17 points; they have played eight games, out of which they have won 5, lost one and drawn two games.
Club Sando Football Club and Terminix La Horquetta Rangers are sitting in the fourth and fifth positions, respectively. Club Sando has 17 points and has won 5, lost one and drawn 2 out of the eight games they have played. Terminix La Horquetta Rangers have 13 points, and they have won 4, lost four and drawn one game out of the eight games they have played.
Prison Service Football Club is in the sixth position with 12 points. The team has won 4 and lost 5 out of the nine games they have played. Prison Service FC is followed by Heritage Petroleum Point Fortin Civic and Eagles Football Club. The former is sitting in the seventh position with 11 points, and the latter is in the eighth position with 8 points.
