St John’s, Antigua and Barbuda: The Ministry of Tourism, along with the tourism authorities of Antigua and Barbuda, has expressed immense gratitude and pleasure while informing the general public that the beautiful Caribbean nation has been nominated in five (5) categories in the 30th anniversary World Travel Awards.
The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Live has taken it to social media and listed the categories under which the nation has been nominated. The post informed that Antigua and Barbuda had been selected as a nominee in the landmark 30th anniversary World Travel Awards, which are as follows:
1) Caribbean’s Leading Beach Destination 2023: Antigua and Barbuda
2) Caribbean’s Leading Destination 2023: Antigua and Barbuda
3) Caribbean’s Leading Honeymoon Destination 2023: Antigua and Barbuda
4) Caribbean’s Leading Tourist Board 2023: Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority
5) Caribbean’s Most Romantic Destination 2023: Antigua and Barbuda
The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Live has also asked the general public and Antiguans and Barbudians living in the Caribbean Region and Latin America to come forward and vote for their nation. As per the official update by the authorities from Antigua and Barbuda, the voting procedure will conclude at midnight on 9 July 2023. They further appealed to “GO and VOTE.”
The social media update by Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Live read, “Voting for our Caribbean and The Americas categories is now open and runs until midnight 9 July 2023. Votes could be cast by travel professionals, media as well as tourism consumers, with the nominee gaining the most votes in each category announced as the World Travel Awards 2023 winner.”
The official update of the World Travel Awards has informed the public that the winner of each category will be asked to attend the World Travel Awards Caribbean & the Americas Gala Ceremony 2023. The Award Ceremony will take place on 26 August 2023 at Sandals Grande St Lucian on the mesmerizing island of Saint Lucia.
