Barbados: Mia Amor Mottley, Prime Minister of Barbados, gave COVID-19 update and described Barbados Government’s paramount dispositions, as it apportions with the deadly coronavirus.
Mia Amor Mottley’s Statement:
Barbados’ government is consulting with the private division and the unions as early as Sunday; the ‘alphabet system’ could be reintroduced at supermarkets, hardware stores, and banks, as was done last year.
‘The wearing of masks inside public buildings is now compulsory,’ says PM Mottley.
“I am now satisfied that the actions that we took, which were exhibited in previous day’s directive, to be able to insist that mask carrying inside of public buildings, not homes, is now mandatory,” added PM Mottley.
Additionally, she stated, “I am now convinced that the efforts that we took, which were displayed in previous day directive, to be able to insist that mask-wearing inside of public buildings, not homes, is now obligatory,”
According to Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Amor Mottley stated the country could accommodate coronavirus vaccines within the following four to eight weeks.
Andrea Duguid commented, “What a blessing to have a good, strong leader. Someone who truly has the confidence and ability to steer the course for this, our beautiful, beloved Barbados. Thank you.”
Some decided categories suggest the testing of people:
Category One: It will receive results within 24 hours. These include medical officers, primary contacts of positive cases, policemen, inmates of Her Majesty’s Prisons Dodds, officers, all medical staff, border security, immigration authorities, patients expecting medical procedure tests, and sufferers in elder care facilities.
Category Two: It includes inbound and outbound visitors.
Category Three: It will include persons, secondary and tertiary contacts, will receive results in 36 to 48 hours.
Category Four: People who suspect that they can suffer from COVID-19.They will get back their test of coronavirus results in 48 to 72 hours.
