US Embassy praises Indian students for their contribution in US education field

United States: Christopher Elms, a spokesperson for the US embassy in New Delhi, on Thursday, expressed gratitude to Indian students studying on US campuses. He stated that the country’s doors are always open to students because they value their contribution to the education field in the United States.

Elms made the remarks ahead of the annual alumni fair. The fair will be held at the American Centre in New Delhi on January 21, 2023. While calling Indian students, he suggested that they attend the alumni fair to learn about the diversity of US higher education opportunities. Indian students are always welcome in the country.

In shedding light on India-US ties, Elms stated that their strong relations had been built on the important pillar of knowledge exchange. Both countries have lifelong friendships that stem from the time Indian students spend in the United States. The US embassy, along with the United States India Educational Foundation (USIEF), is preparing to host the 2023 Education USA Alumni Fair at the American Centre on January 21.

The fair will feature around 28 accredited universities and colleges from the United States and will provide students with the chance to interact with current students and alumni of higher education institutions in the USA. The US embassy also stated that the participants would directly benefit from the experiences of those who attended universities throughout the United States.

According to the embassy, the students will also be able to learn about the application process, scholarships, and funding from qualified advisers from the Education USA centre at the US-India Education Foundation (USIEF). Officials from the US Embassy will also brief them on the students’ visa application process.

According to Adam Grotsky, Executive Director of USIED, Indian students studying at American colleges as well as universities will provide an accurate and significant narrative of their academic, extracurricular, and cross-cultural experiences in the US.
