St Lucia: The Sir Arthur Lewis Community College, also known as SALCC, will administer its annual entrance examination on April 28, 2022 (Thursday). The Examination will be administered at the College’s two campuses and the Beanfield Secondary School.
The exam is a requirement for anyone who does not yet have CSEC passes in Mathematics and/or English A to afford students another opportunity to gain successful entry into their programme of choice.
The entrance examination in Mathematics and English A contains multiple-choice items that assess competencies candidates have acquired from learning the concepts included in the CSEC Syllabus at the secondary level. These competencies are necessary for advanced study at SALCC.
The Entrance Examination results will serve as one of several criteria used for students to gain entry into the College for the 2022/23 academic year. The students’ eligibility would be determined by the transcripts from students’ fourth and fifth years at Secondary school.
All applicants writing the exam must carry a form of Picture ID, and secondary school students are required to wear full uniforms. Students who pass the entrance examination and have satisfactory grades on their transcripts will receive early admission into their programmes in August/September 2022.
The Sir Arthur Lewis Community College applications for the academic year 2022-2023 will close on April 30, 2022.
Interested individuals pursuing any of the College’s 50 programmes offered at the Certificate, Associate Degree or Bachelor’s level are invited to visit the College’s website at www.salcc.edu.lc to complete an application.
