St Lucia: The Department of Housing and Local Government (under the PROUD) will continue its practice of intervening socially with the general public.

St Lucia: The Department of Housing and Local Government (under the PROUD) will continue its practice of intervening socially with the general public.
The main aim behind this intervention would be to empower the residents. It will also focus on regularizing their occupation of Crown Lands in the community of Cantonment.
In this regard, the community meeting will be organized, and the department has invested all residents within this community to attend the meeting on June 8, 2022 (Wednesday) at 5 pm at the Augier Combined School to discuss the importance and significance to and from the community.
Earlier, the meeting was organized a week before, on May 25 (Wednesday).
The department has asked that all precautionary measures would be followed. Furthermore, it has urged that in an effort to practice social distancing for the prevention of the spread of the Novel COVID- 19 Pandemic in St Lucia, a limited number of persons are allowed within the hail.
The department further stated, “In the event that you require additional information, please contact the PROUD Office at telephone number 468-2600.”
It added, “Let us continue to practice social distancing and take every precaution during this time seriously.”
