St Lucia: Prime Minister of St Lucia Allen Chastanet has shared a Tiktok video that highlights the most primary protocol of COVID-19.
Prime Minister of St Lucia Allen Chastanet wrote, “The most patriotic thing that you can do during this pandemic is simple ‘wearing masks.’
We all know earlier people were not happy with the amid a situation of St Lucia. The opposition was blaming the current government for not managing work systematically.
It created chaos in the nation. But slowly and steadily, St Lucia is coming on tracks of security and safety from lethal coronavirus.
Prime Minister of St Lucia Allen Chastanet even honored two females in his cabinet whom he portrayed as strong women.
And Prime Minister Allen Chastanet also praised four private-sector women in a post on his official Facebook page.
Chastanet’s words of recommendation follow his address to the nation on Tuesday.
The address outlined this nation’s COVID-19 response.
“I was thankful to have been joined by two strong women within my Cabinet, Minister for Health Hon. Mary Isaac and Minister for Education Hon. Dr. Gale TC Rigobert,” Chastanet stated.
He said he is “so proud” to have them as part of the cabinet of ministers.” It would be remiss of me to not acknowledge the fact that the leading members of the Private Sector Organizations who joined the update last evening in support of the measures the Government was taking against COVID-19 were all women,” he observed.
They were Chamber of Commerce President Karen Fontenelle, St Lucia Hotel and Tourism Association President Karolin Troubetzkoy, St Lucia Manufacturers Association President Marguerite Desir, St Lucia Bankers Association President Carol Mangal, and President of the St. Lucia Medical and Dental Association, Dr. Merle Clarke.
“Thank you all for being an inspiration and for your great leadership and participation at this crucial and most challenging time in our country’s history,” the Prime Minister said.
