St Kitts and Nevis: Taxi and Tour Bus Decal Distribution for 2024 

St Kitts and Nevis: St Kitts Tourism Authority released a notice on December 6 to remind the taxi and tour bus operators about the expiry of 2023 Decals on December 31, 2023.

This notice has also been released as a follow up notice of the earlier released notice regarding this on August 29, 2023.

Moreover, the St Kitts Tourism Authority made an announcement to all the tour and taxi operators to schedule the  appointment with St Kitts Tourism Authority for renewing the decal.

Further, the appointment will provide an aid in the completion of the inspection process which will lead towards the completion of decal renewal. Also, there are certain days set for this process for whole month which are as follows:

• Monday
• Wednesday; and
• Friday

And, the set time for the appointment is between 1pm and 3pm.

Importantly, the processing of IDs or Decals has been halted for last Friday (December 29, 2023) and the work will resume on January 3, 2024 (Wednesday).

Notably, the cost for the decal is XCD $40.

And, it is very important to note that the tourism authority will not dispatch jobs to the major dispatching points to the operators without a 2024 decal after January 1, 2024 (Monday).

Considerably, the major dispatching points are the Airport or Port Zante. Not Renewed decal will also give another inconvenience to the operators as they would not be allowed to park the taxis in the official taxi parking lot and Eastern Spill-over area at the port.

Significantly, the renewed Decals will attract the amount of XCD $50 (late decal renewal) after December 31, 2023.

Before this, the notice regarding this was released in August in which the authority had announced all the details about the decal renewal. 

It was announced that the renewals will be based on the alphabet of the last name of an operator. And, different dates were allotted accordingly which are as follows:

• A to E from September 4 to September 30
• F to O from October 1 to October 31
• P to Z from November 1 to November 31

However, the last date without late fee for the decal renewal is December 31, 2023.
