St Kitts and Nevis reports 1 new COVID-19 case, confirmed cases at 5,537
Ministry of Health states the total number of confirmed cases reported in the last 24 hours is one (1), and the total number of recovered patients is zero (0).

St Kitts and Nevis: According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of confirmed cases reported in the last 24 hours is one (1), and the total number of recovered patients is zero (0).
As per the data by the ministry on March 8, 2022 (Tuesday) till 6 pm, the total number of confirmed cases registered in the twin-island federation is 5,537, since the pandemic has begun in St Kitts and Nevis. Out of the total, St Kitts has reported 4,700 cases, and 837 cases have been registered by Nevis.
As many as 5,490 patients have been recovered from the deadly virus, since April 21, 2020, 4,660 people have been recovered ion St Kitts from the SARS-CoV-2 virus as well as Nevis has reported 830 recovered cases.
As per the official data by the ministry of health, the total number of active cases in St Kitts and Nevis has been increased to five (5). However, Nevis has zero (0) active cases; all have been reported in St Kitts.
The federation has reported no deaths. A total number of deaths reported total 42 deaths; of these, 35 have been reported in St Kitts and Nevis, and the remaining seven (7) have been registered in Nevis.
According to the vaccination trend, as of March 8, the total number of doses administrated in St Kitts and Nevis has reported 57,700. The residents of St Kitts have received as many as 43,869 doses, and 13,831 vaccine doses have been administrated in Nevis. This data reveals that 82.7 percent of the population have taken the 1st dose of vaccination, and 2nd dose have been received by 77.4 percent.
The number of booster doses administrated is 3,079, which compromises around 9.3 percent of the total population. Along with this, the total number of fully- vaccinated individuals has been noticed as 26,403 (children have been added in the data).
According to the health ministry, around 18.8 percent of children have received 1st dose, and the second dose has been administrated 17.0 percent.
