St Kitts and Nevis PM Terrance Drew invites public to join celebrations of 50th Anniversary of CARICOM
Dr Terrance Drew, Prime Minister of the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis has invited the general public join CARICOM Community in celebrating the 50th Anniversary.

Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: Dr Terrance Drew, Prime Minister of the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis has invited the general public of St Kitts and Nevis to join CARICOM Community in celebrating the 50th Anniversary. He also extended his invitation to other people of the Caribbean region.
He highlighted that the government of St Kitts and Nevis has been observing this occasion by organising some fun activities. According to the information shared by the government of St Kitts and Nevis, these activities are schedule to take place on July 4, 2023 (Tuesday), between 3 pm and 9 pm.
The decided venue for the event is Independence Square, Basseterre, St Kitts.
As per the flyer circulated by the government, the occasion will be celebrated by hosting a Food Fair and some activities which will be all about entertainment. While inviting the general public, it asked the public to watch CARICOM Live performances featuring ‘Infamous’.
It also informed that performances will be given by Erica Edwards, DeJour, DJ Tero and EK.
Currently, Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew is in Trinidad and Tobago to attend the Forty-fifth Meeting of Caribbean Leaders.
The meeting will witness conversation about major issues in the Caribbean region. The major issues to be discussed included the CARICOM Single Market and Economy, Climate Change, including Climate Finance, Agriculture and Food Security, Security, Trade Negotiations, Education, and Health.
This year, the theme of the celebration will be “50 Years Strong: A Solid Foundation to Build On”.
