St Kitts and Nevis: PM Terrance Drew discusses Conaree Football Stadium during Townhall meet

Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister of the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, has recently participated in a Townhall Meeting. The meeting was hosted by the Department of Sports and Department of Public Works along with the Government of St Kitts and Nevis. The meeting was hosted by Prime Minister Drew held yesterday (Thursday), June 15, 2023, at 6 pm.
As per the official update released by the Department of Sports of St Kitts and Nevis, the major focus of the meeting was on the Conaree Football Stadium. The meeting shed light and discussed various serious and essential matters related to its growth and development. The current condition and future plans to be carried out in the stadium were also discussed during the meeting, said reports.
The reports have conveyed that the featured guests of the meeting were Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew, Members of the Public Works Department and the Department of Sports. On his part, PM Drew, along with his delegation, also engaged in interactive meet and greet with the local people of Conaree Community, reports added.
Before the broadcasting of the meeting, Prime Minister Drew also invited the general public of St Kitts and Nevis to attend the meeting and gather information about the Football Stadium via different social media channels and platforms under the government’s supervision. “I am inviting the Conaree community to join us this evening at 6:00 pm at the Conaree Community Center,” he wrote in his social media post.
It is worth noting that the Prime Minister of the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Drew, has gathered praise from the citizens and residents of the country for his outstanding work in the field of sports.
Many nationals believe that the sports sector has been developing and growing under the leadership and management of the Prime Minister.
St Kitts and Nevis contest in the Football events under St Kitts and Nevis Football Association. The Association is known to host various football leagues, such as recently it has planned to host Weekend Premier League. The league will commence on June 16 (Friday) and will end on June 19 (Sunday).
