The previous day, St Lucia launched the first phase of the coronavirus Vaccine Roll Out, with several front-liner workers and key administration officials getting the first vaccines in a live broadcast.
PM Allen Chastanet wrote, “His wife and himself joined in on the Vaccination drive as a form of support to help build confidence in those who may be doubtful about being vaccinated.”
Furthermore, He added, Commanding the first vaccines is a prominent milestone for public health officials in decreasing the impact of the coronavirus outbreak, and the first person to experience the first dose of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine in St Lucia was Principal Nursing Officer Julietta Cassius, who expressed her own experiences on the frontline of this lethal coronavirus war.
PM Allen Chastanet added, “Protecting our Frontliners also means that we are guarding all St Lucians as they are the individuals who are really at the forefront of struggling this battle.”
Additionally, “The vaccination rollout is being carried out under the theme: Vaccinate: For You. For Yours. For Us.”
Taking the coronavirus vaccine is optional, and it is free. Over the next few days, more health care operators and high-risk people will take their first dose of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine.
St Lucia’s coronavirus vaccine deployment will have a three-phased approach, concentrating on priority groups first, based on the level of exposure and risk to lethal coronavirus.
Clearing all doubts and taking the vaccines in the first drive of vaccination is the most righteous measure taken by the Prime Minister. It will not only build confidence but will clear all the doubts regarding vaccines.
Allen M Chastanet didn’t behave like a prime minister, but he acted like a leader in the vaccination drive. Along with all citizens, he himself became like them and got vaccinated.
