Saint Lucia tourism offerings attract over 75000 visitors in first-two months of 2024

Castries, Saint Lucia: In January and February 2024, over 75000 travellers explored the beauty, romance, adventure and vibrant culture and tradition of Saint Lucia. These numbers mark an impressive 8% growth in January and 12% in February as compared to last year. 

As per the details, January 2024 welcomed a total of 36,863 stay-over visitors, which is a remarkable 7% increase over 2019. Meanwhile, 38,837 travellers visited the magnificent beauty of Saint Lucia which is a 2% increase over 2019.

The island nation continued to offer several amenities to all its visitors and maintained its position as a top Caribbean destination. The island nation is a perfect beauty which offers a plethora of experiences to all its visitors.

Along with that, Saint Lucia is also considered the perfect honeymoon destination for all love birds. The pristine and romantic beaches, beautiful waterfalls, lush mountains and luxurious honeymoon packages make Saint Lucia the most enhancing honeymoon spot in the Caribbean.

The island nation’s attractions such as adventure, nature, chocolate experiences, diving and hosting meetings, family gateways, conferences, exhibitions and incentives make Saint Lucia a preferred destination to explore.

Recently, the cruise ship, Virgin Voyage Valiant Lady made an inaugural visit to the island nation in January 2024 and welcomed thousands of passengers. This visit by the Virgin Voyage reinforced the ministry’s commitment to provide exceptional travel experiences and also broadened the options that are available to visitors who are seeking the beauty and warmth of the destination.

Moreover, Saint Lucia also witnessed the inaugural visit of Norwegian Sky to Port Castries. The cruise has a capacity to accommodate 4000 passengers and it welcomed thousands of visitors to the island nation. The passengers got an opportunity to explore the beautiful island nation and remarked the destination as one of the most exciting places to visit.

Notably, Konstantinos Fafalios, the captain of Norwegian Sky commented that, Saint Lucia is a well-known and hospitable port for the cruise industry and also praised the warm hospitality of Saint Lucia. He also noted the island nation as one of the most beautiful Caribbean islands.

Following that, Seven Seas Grandeur also made its inaugural call to Port Castries which adds a touch of luxury and sophistication to the island nation’s vibrant maritime landscape.
