St John’s, Antigua and Barbuda: Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Live (ABTL) has shared glimpses of the Day 1 of the Caribbean Travel Marketplace. The update shared has shown Tourism team participating in media interviews and business meetings.
As per the update, Minister of Tourism Charles Fernandez participated in the media interviews and business meetings and discussions with other tourism ministers.
The social media update by the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Live stated, “Day 1 of Caribbean Travel Marketplace saw the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism team off to a busy start as they engaged in meetings with buyers from the USA, UK & Europe, Canada and The Caribbean and Latin America.”
Furthermore, it informed the general public that Minister of Tourism Charles Fernandez also participated in media interviews and business meetings and discussions with other Tourism ministers.
In addition to this, the update by the tourism authority introduced the ministered who are representing the twin-island nation.
As per the update, representing the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority from the key source markets is the Director of Tourism for the USA – Dean Fenton, Director of Tourism for the UK & Europe – Cherrie Osborne, Director of Tourism for the Caribbean and Latin America – Charmaine Spencer and Director of Tourism (Ag) for Canada – Tameka Wharton.
The other representatives will be Chairman of the Antigua and Barbuda Hotels & Tourism Association (ABHTA) Board of Directors – Craig Marshall (also of Royalton Antigua), Executive Director of the ABHTA – Patrice Christian-Simon, ABHTA Board Director – Norma Holder (also of Curtain Bluff) alongside other DMCs and hotel partners.
