St. Kitts and Nevis: Minister of Foreign Affairs & Aviation of St. Kitts and Nevis Hon. Mark Brantley feels proud to witness SKN Flag flying next to US flag above Wall Street in New York.

Hon Mark Brantley tweeted, “Proud to see the St. Kitts and Nevis flag flying next to the US flag above Wall Street in New York. This will be flown all week in celebration of Nevis born Alexander Hamilton who became one of America’s Founding Fathers and is credited with designing the US financial system.”

This is an excellent achievement for St. Kitts and Nevis as now the nation’s flag receives significant love and respect from all over the world. In the era of covid-19, challenges are no less, but achievements like these can stimulate citizens’ confidence and enthusiasm.

These acts can help everyone to choose the pursuit of happiness. People can see how democracy is prevailing again in the world if we talk about the COVID-19 situation in St.Kitts and Nevis then Hon. Prime Minister Timothy Harris posted, “The world needs to strategize to end prohibition and inclination against small island states. In the context of COVID-19, high-level countries should do more further for small island states.”

Citizen Gavin Hamilton commented, “We in St Kitts & Nevis are more ready than they for widespread vaccination. In the United States, despite an excess of supply, an incomprehensibly slow distribution system means several million doses of the vaccine sit fallow in refrigerators, not yet administered, while Barbados and St Lucia struggle to manage outbreaks. From that perspective, it is infuriating to see what’s happening in St Lucia and Barbados because they, like St Kitts & Nevis, emerged from the first wave in spectacular shape. No useful purpose is served by forcing us to wait longer for the vaccine when we are, in fact, more ready and prepared for it.”
