PM Terrance Drew hosts breakfast for Minister Marci Len and Lilian Chatterjee

Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew of St Kitts and Nevis expressed his delight on hosting the Canadian Minister of Women and Gender Affairs and Youth, Marci Len and the HE Lilian Chatterjee at the La Cuchina Restaurant, St Kitts Marriott Resort for breakfast on 5 January 2024.

“It was a delightful start to a day which was filled with insightful discussions and collaborations,” said PM Drew.

The guest speaker for the PM’S Gala was Marci Len, brought an abundant amount of knowledge and experience to the conversation. This event is being termed as an example of ‘Breakfast diplomacy’ and has allowed Dr Terrance Drew, Marci Len and HE Lilian Chatterjee to discuss important affairs which are relevant for both nations.

On the same day, the Canadian Minister of Women and Gender Affairs and Youth, Marci Len was given a tour of the National Assembly Chambers at the government headquarters by Mauriel Knight, the Deputy Clerk of the National Assembly, Isalean Phillip, the Minister of Youth Empowerment and the members of the St Kitts and Nevis National Youth Parliament Association.

The Canadian Minister was also joined by the Ambassador of Canada, Lilian Chatterjee. The official discussion was also held between the representatives of both the nations in the Parliamentary Lounge where they discussed social issues. This dialogue was conducted after the completion of the tour and included the executive members of St Kitts and Nevis Youth Parliament Association.

Moreover, the Minister of Diversity for the Government of Canada collaborated with the High Commission from Canada to St Kitts and Nevis and conducted a meeting at the main campus of the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College on Burdon Street on Friday, 5 January, 2024.

The main motive behind the meeting was to hold discussions on a potential collaboration between the Clearance Fitzroy Bryant College and the institutions and organizations of Canada in order to achieve common goals. This collaboration will focus on creating a positive impact on the students of both nations.
