Weather Update: Saint Lucia to see fair weather during early hours of Jan 12

Saint Lucia: The Meteorological Department of the Caribbean country of Saint Lucia has shared an update on the weather conditions the nation will witness in the early hours of January 12, 2023. The 6 am weather report was announced by the forecaster ‘Webster Gajadhar.’

According to the update shared by the weather department, the weather condition at the Hewanorra Airport was fair and the temperature was near 25°C or 77°F. Along with this, the department mentioned that the minimum temperature at the airport during the night was similar to the morning temperature of the next day. As per the update, the winds were blowing at 13 mph or 20 km/h from the east-southeast direction.

The Meteorological Department has further conveyed that in the 24-hour period, the Hewanorra Airport reported a 6.4 mm perception. The rainfall witnessed in January is 54.6 mm, as per the recent update.

The forecaster further informed about the sunrise and sunset timing. According to the update, today, the sun will rise at 6:31 am.

In addition to this, the meteorological department of Saint Lucia shared a forecast for the next 24 hours. The weather conditions are predicted to be partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered showers in the country. The winds will blow at 17 mph or 28 km/h speed in the east-northeast direction.

The Marine Forecast, by the department, informed that there would be moderate conditions at Seas with waves 4 to 6 feet or 1.2 to 1.8 metres. Meanwhile, the weather and marine conditions will remain similar in the Lesser Antilles Region as in the Caribbean nation of Saint Lucia. The weather will be partly cloudy, becoming cloudy at times with some scattered showers.

While concluding the weather update forecaster informed about the weather summary with announced that the Eastern Caribbean Region will continue to generate Atlantic High-Pressure System, which will form light to moderate easterly winds over the next few days. Patches of clouds will be moving along the wind flow, causing a few showers over the Lesser Antilles region.
