Usain Bolt welcomes twin sons, Thunder Bolt and Saint Leo Bolt

World: The sprinter Usain Bolt had two sons, named Thunder Bolt and Saint Leo Bolt.

Bolt, 34, announced the news on Father’s Day on Instagram with a lightning bolt emoji next to each of his children’s names.

The Olympic titleholder posted a photo of him and his spouse Kasi Bennett, with their twin sons and one-year-old daughter Olympia Lightning.

The couple did not say precisely when the twins were born.

Bennett also published a photo with the infants, stating Bolt is ‘the rock of this family and the biggest dad for our little ones’.

Olympia Lightning was born in May 2020 and her name was made public two months later.

Prior to her birth, Bolt kept followers on social media informed of Bennett’s pregnancy. However, neither he nor Bennett posted about her pregnancy with the twins.

Bolt, a Jamaican sprinter icon, retired from athletics in 2017 and still holds the 100- and 200m world records, earning him the fastest man in history.

He is also the only man to have attained three 100m Olympic titles and 23 significant gold medals throughout his career.

After retiring from athletics, he tried to play professional football, but then declared that he would leave sports altogether in 2019.

Bolt is not the first known person to use a pun when naming children.

In 2013, Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian West, who are currently divorced, made headlines when they named their child Northwest.

Musician Jermaine Jackson named his son, now 20, Jermajesty.

And television actor Rob Morrow from the 1990s Northern Exposure series calls his daughter, who is now also an actor, Tu Morrow.
