Crimea: As the war has progressed, tensions between Ukraine and Russia have been on the rise; recently, Ukraine said it had struck a part of the Russian air defence system in conquered Crimea.

Moscow confronts and highlights it forced back a major venture missile strike on the peninsula on Monday.

Kyiv has increased attacks on the Black Sea peninsula, which was seized by Moscow in 2014, and earlier this year, it initiated a counterstrike against Russian forces.

The Ukrainian army’s strategic communications unit stated the success of their armed forces in hitting a strategic object of the air defence system on the western coast of occupied Crimea.

Russia on Monday admitted that its air defences have successfully blackballed eight Ukrainian missiles fired at the peninsula.

Notably, the Russian defence Ministry stated that the Kyiv regime attempted an attack with eight Storm Shadow cruise missiles on October 30, at around 13:00.

Therefore, their targets on the Crimean- Peninsula were stopped.

British-supplied Storm Shadows consist of a range of over 250 kilometres, which is almost 155 miles that sanction Kyiv to attack targets behind the leading edges in the east and south of Ukraine.

The Russian-installed governor of Sevastopol added to remark that one person was injured from falling debris.

It is to be noted that Russian military bloggers pointed out that Ukraine is deepening its attacks overnight on the peninsula.

Influential Rybar remarks

The influential Rybar Telegram channel, which is so close to the Russian army, disclosed Kyiv’s launch of the “Combine Attack” technique.

Furthermore, the statement has come out that Ukraine allegedly launched two US ARACMS missiles, which fell across the western coast of Crimea near the village of Olenivka.

Notably, Rybar extended his thankfulness for the earlier measures that had been taken, as there was no serious damage. However, the Russian forces were unable to down the missiles.

According to reports circulating on social media, roughly half an hour later, sailors of the Black Sea Fleet discovered three Ukrainian naval drones in the vicinity of Sevastopol.

Reportedly, one of them was destroyed, while two made an attempt to pass into the Bay of Kherson before being downed by Russian forces.

Above all, Ukraine targeted the Russian Black Sea Fleet almost regularly in Crimea. In September, Kyiv had reportedly attacked a symbolic army headquarters in Sevastopol.
