Trinidad & Tobago police arrest fake soldier in possession of firearms
Police arrested a fake soldier of age 25 years for the possession of two firearms, along with a magazine and several rounds of ammunition, during the exercises in the Western and Southern Divisions, T&T.

Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago: Police arrested a fake soldier of age 25 years for the possession of two firearms, along with a magazine and several rounds of ammunition, during the exercises in the Western and Southern Divisions, T&T.
It is to be noted that the exercise was held on January 1 at approximately 7:10 am by the officers of the Western Division, acting on intelligence and proceeded to Salandy Street at Diego Martin.
On their arrival, they found a man dressed in camouflage in possession of a shotgun. The suspect was identified to be from Quarry Street, Diego Martin.
Further, police arrested him and took him into custody. Enquiries are continuing into the matter.
Moreover, on the same day in Southern Division, Cpl Bahadur and a party of officers were given information about a firearm. While reacting to the information, the officers went to a track off Bayshore Road at Marabella and searched the area.
Noting this, they discovered one firearm, loaded with a magazine and seven rounds of 45 calibre ammunition, were found hidden in a stack of wood.
Further to this, the firearm was seized for further processing, and Cpl Bahadur is continuing enquiries into the matter.

While reacting to the post, one user named Raymond Ockille commented, “All saying make camouflage legal hope you all are ready for what will come with it! I pray that the authorities don’t listen to the ignorance and make it legal.”
Another user by the name of Alisha Ramkissoon wrote, “Smhhhhhh, all these crimes are already for the new year!!! What ah shame I have to pray for my country Trinidad it’s in a mess already for the new year what ah shame!!!! I’m feeling really embarrassed but good work officers keep it up Trinidad and Tobago Police Service.”
In reacting to this news, one user Naresh Nazir stated, “Feel free to start the investigations with the Trinidad and Tobago regiment service… Citizens don’t have access to those clothes them does take off the citizens on public.”
