Trinidad and Tobago to host MYDNS Youth Week 2024, entries free

Trinidad and Tobago: The Ministry of Youth Development and National Service is all set to host Youth Week 2024 with a vision to provide them an opportunity to express their ideas and views for the development of the island nation.

The Ministry has scheduled a series of events and activities, effective from Monday, 19^th August and will continue till Saturday, 24^th August 2024. The entry to all these events is free for the citizens of the country, with plenty of giveaways promised throughout the week.

The attendees will get an opportunity to delve into the world of Digitization, explore careers in the tech and digital industries, play virtual sports and games, access to free business registration, entertainment, win prizes and many more.

All these activities are being hosted by the Ministry of Youth Development and National Service in order to build the capacity of young people in a quest to actively support and contribute to the social, cultural and economic growth of communities in the island nation.

The entire schedule of activities for Youth Week 2024

Monday, 19^th August 2024

The launch of the MYDNS Youth Week 2024 will begin with a White Night at NAPA, Port of Spain which has been scheduled to take place from 4pm to 9pm. The attendees will get a chance to enjoy a “Fully Positive” concert and a Ted Talk titled “From Clicks to Progress.” All the attendees have been asked to wear White clothes.

Tuesday, 20^th August 2024

On the second day, the authorities will host a Youth in Sport at Pleasantville Indoor Sporting Arena from 10am – 2pm. All the attendees will get a chance to enjoy a traditional and virtual/digital sports.

Wednesday, 21^st August 2024

The third day will host a Youth In Business at NAPA, Port of Spain, starting from 3pm to 9pm. It offers Free business registration and business support services for the first 100 interested youth from 18-35 years.

Thursday, 22^nd August 2024

The authorities will launch YAHP App on the fourth day of Youth Week 2024, celebrating Youth in Agriculture. It has been scheduled to take place at NAPA, Port of Spain from 3pm – 9pm. It will offer Free poultry with produce purchase at Youth Week Market.

Friday, 23^rd August 2024

Digital Caravan has been scheduled to take place on Friday which will give all the attendees an opportunity to explore careers in the Tech and Digital Industries. It will take place at NAPA, Port of Spain from 3 pm to 9 pm.

Saturday, 24^th August 2024

The Youth Week 2024 will conclude with Youth on Stage Finals at NAPA, Port of Spain at 6pm. The attendees will get a chance to visit free to MYDNS Head Office.
