St Kitts Police arrested Dominique Greene for possessing firearm and ammunition

The authorities of the nation apprehended and charged Dominique Greene, resident of School Road, Old Road, St Kitts, for the offence of possessing a firearm and ammunition.

Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: The authorities of the nation apprehended and charged Dominique Greene, resident of School Road, Old Road, St Kitts, for the offence of possessing a firearm and ammunition.

It is to be noted that the officers of the island nation held a joint operation and executed a search exercise at Dominique Green’s home. The search operation was conducted by the Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU), the Joint Security Operations Tactical Team (JSOTT) of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF), the St Kitts and Nevis Defence Force (SKNDF) and the officials from the St Kitts and Nevis Customs and Excise Department.

The search was conducted by the authorities on Friday with a motive to control the increasing crime rate. While conducting the search, the officers found and seized various things. The things found in Dominique Green’s house include,

  • One A-K assault rifle
  • One Taurus revolver with five rounds in the barrel
  • Sixty-one 9mm rounds
  • One .40mm round
  • Six .38mm rounds
  • Four .380mm rounds
  • Nineteen 5.56mm rounds
  • Twenty-one 7.62mm rounds
  • Two pairs of camouflaged pants
  • One camouflaged jacket
  • One bullet-proof vest

Notably, the charges were laid against Dominique Green on 20th January 2024 at the Basseterre Police Station.

The RSCNPF extended gratitude to the St Kitts and Nevis Defence Force and the St Kitts and Nevis Customs and Excise Department for their continuous support and collaboration in maintaining the law and order of the island nation.

Along with that, the residents of the community also took to their social media accounts and shared their views on the case. As one person with a Facebook account, Eula Pemberton, commented, “He seems like he was a one-man Army. Glad He is in the hands of the Authorities. My opinion.”

Another person with a Facebook handle, Scotty Hanley, wrote, “he was well armed. Another dummy, why have all those in your house. I am sure he was showing off and someone told the cops on him. When the ballistics tests are done, he better pray those weapons weren’t involved in any crime.”
