St Kitts and Nevis: PM Terrance Drew congratulates CFBC team for winning debate competition

ST Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister, Dr Terrance Drew, has expressed pride and honour and extended the heartiest congratulations to the St Kitts-Nevis team, which secured the win while representing the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC) in a recently held Leeward Island Debate competition in Antigua.

According to the updates, Prime Minister of the Twin-Island Federation, Dr Terrance Drew, took it to his official social media handle to express his joy and happiness following the accomplishment of the St Kitts-Nevis team for their extraordinary and exceptional performance in the competition.

While lauding and acknowledging the players of the St Kitts-Nevis team, PM Terrance Drew wrote in his official social media account caption, “Congratulations are in order for Team St Kitts-Nevis represented by the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC) having won the first round of the Leeward Islands Debate competition in Antigua. Congrats to the team!”

Furthermore, Prime Minister Drew further extended his remarks and took it to recognize the notable performance of the St Kitts-Nevis team players who represented Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC) in the debate event and bagged first position in the first round.

– Jonathan Bass- 17-year-old first-year economics student at the CFBC in St Kitts. Additionally, PM Drew also mentioned that Bass is an ambitious student of the CFBC who wants to pursue his passion in entrepreneurship and business fields. Bass wants to expand his knowledge in the field of business marketing while running his own business called ‘Country Above Self Clothing’, said the Prime Minister.
– Daneisy Rawlins- 17- year-old Kittian currently studying as a first-year Sociology major at CFBC. she aims to be an English teacher as she believes in expressing feelings more effectively.
– Jahzara Greene- 17-year-old first-year student of Natural Science enrolled in CFBC. She is currently aspiring to pursue her career in STEM and has prospective plans in Forensic Pathology or Medical Physics. The PM said she also likes to read and follow poetry as her hobbies.
– Shahdesia Greene- Greene is a student of Natural Science major at CFBC, previously graduated from the Seventh Day Adventist Primary School and Washington Archibald High School, respectively.
– Kaylya Butler- A 17-year-old student of Accounting, Economics and Mathematics. She is also the Vice-President of the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College Literary and Debating Society.
– Hadassah Cuffy- A 18-year-old second-year student of Law and Foreign Languages at CFBC. She is pursuing a career in advocacy, specifically to address discrimination and unfair treatment issues.
