St Kitts and Nevis Patriots have confirmed their Caribbean player retentions ahead of the 2023 Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL)

Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: St Kitts and Nevis Patriots have confirmed their Caribbean player retentions ahead of the 2023 Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL). The tournament gets underway on August 16 with the final taking place on September 24. There will be matches in Barbados, Guyana, St Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia and Trinidad and Tobago.
The Caribbean players the Patriots have retained are as follows:
Evin Lewis
Andre Fletcher
Sherfane Rutherford
Dominic Drakes
Sheldon Cottrell
Joshua Da Silva
The Patriots have also brought in Oshane Thomas, who was transferred from the Barbados Royals.
The overseas players and draft picks will be announced during the Republic Bank CPL draft show, which will be broadcast at the end of June.
As per the official update by CPLT20 2023, St Kitts and Nevis Patriot will play as many as ten (10) matches during the tournament. Of the total, five matches will be played in St Kitts and Nevis, and the remaining five (5) will be played away from the homeland.
The team will be playing its first match on August 19, 2023 (Saturday), against Trinbago Knight Riders.
According to the schedule, the local matches will be played at Warner Park. The first matches will be played on August 23, 2023, at 7:00 pm ECT (4:30 am IST on August 23, 2023) against Jamaica Tallawahs.
The second match will be played on August 24, 2023, at 7 pm ECT (4:30 am IST on August 25, 2023) against Guyana Amazon Warriors.
The third match will be played on August 26, 2023, at 7 pm ECT (4:30 am IST on August 27, 2023) against Barbados Royals.
The fourth match will be played on August 27, 2023, at 7 pm ECT (4:30 am IST on August 28, 2023) against Trinbago Knight Riders, and
The fifth match will be against Saint Lucia Kings on September 9, 2023, at 10 am ECT (7:30 pm IST on September 9, 2023).
Along with this, St Kitts and Nevis Patriot will lock horns with Trinbago Knight Riders on August 19, 2023, at Daren Sammy Ground at 10 am ECT (7:30 pm IST).
On August 20, 2023, the team will contest at Daren Sammy Ground at 10 am ECT (7:30 pm IST) against Barbados Royals.
On September 3, 2023, the team will play against Guyana Amazon Warriors at Providence Stadium at 7 pm ECT (4:30 am IST).
On September 16, 2023, the team will play against Jamaica Tallawahs at Providence Stadium at 10 am ECT (7:30 pm IST).
