Saint Lucia wins gold at 10th annual Travvy Awards

Saint Lucia is continuing to mark significant milestones, aiming to elevate the profile of the island nation to greater heights with their consecutive victories and honours at an international platform. Recently, the country has earned the prestigious Gold statuette in the 10^th annual Travvy Awards for Best Honeymoon Destination of the Caribbean region.

This remarkable victory by Saint Lucia shed light on the continuous efforts undertaken by the tourism authority towards attracting couples and providing them a loving and romantic hotspot destinations for making their trip unforgettable.

As per the details, the annual Travvy Awards was conducted on Thursday, 7^th November, 2024 at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention Center, USA. These awards were conducted with a vision to recognize the highest standards of excellence in the travel industry.

The 2024 Travvy Awards celebrated the best and brightest suppliers in the industry and the places that enhance the experience of the travellers every time. The authorities said that whether a person is taking a cruise, embarking on a food journey or tying the knot, the right destination truly makes the huge difference.

The winners of the awards were declared on the basis of votes casted by the travel advisors. According to the information, thousands of votes were casted at the 10^th Travvy Awards which brought industry of several nations together to celebrate their accomplishments.

The Jade Mountain of Saint Lucia was also recognized for being among the best, as they secured gold for the Best Honeymoon Hotel/Resort and silver for Best Luxury Hotel/Resort in the Caribbean region.

The CEO of the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, Louis Lewis said that it is an absolute honour for them to be named as the winner of Travvy Awards. He stated that their victory was determined by all those who knows them best i.e, travel advisors.

He also said that these awards are a testament to the high-quality offerings of Saint Lucia. The CEO further added that these recognitions shed light on their commitment towards making Saint Lucia, the premier Caribbean tourist attraction for all the travellers.
