Castries, Saint Lucia: “Saint Lucia Inspired” Mixer was organized by the Tourism Authority of Saint Lucia at Jamaica Pegasus last week. The event was conducted with a vision to promote the unique offerings of the island nation and to strengthen relations with Jamaica by engaging in discussions for fostering the tourism sector among both countries.

The event was attended by the Travel advisors, media, diaspora, leaders and all other representatives from the Jamaica Tourist Board and Influencers for an evening of networking and learning. All these delegations shed light on the measures that can be undertaken in order to attract a large number of tourists to the island nation. 

Along with that the Marketing Manager, Christopher Gustave, and the PR Officer, Rondel Charley were also joined by renowned Saint Lucian Deejay, Hollywood HP and Brand Ambassador Dean Sammy also attended the event. 

Their presence in the event emphasised the activities conducted by Saint Lucia with the motive to boost the tourism sector of the country. Moreover, the attendees of the event were introduced to the unique and vibrant facilities offered by the tourism authority to their travellers. 

The event was a unique way of showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the nation and promoting its beautiful hot-spot destinations. The attendees were also shown a robust calendar of activities for 2024 which highlighted the details about Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival and ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

These two events being conducted in the nation will bring several international visitors to the island nation. As the country will be hosting a few matches of T20 World Cup 2024 which is a great way of welcoming cricket lovers to the nation and offering them several amenities and making their visit memorable and comfortable. Also, the Jazz and Arts Festival will offer all its attendees an electrifying performances of internationally acclaimed artists.

The attendees also learned about the travelling options from Jamaica via Barbados with onward connections to Saint Lucia. This learning will play a crucial role in making travel options easier for people who wish to explore Saint Lucia and Jamaica. 

Notably, the tourism ministry was joined by accommodation partners, Zoetry and Sandals at the event. They also expressed gratitude to Saint Lucia Distillers for supporting the event and making it successful. 

Moreover, the Minister of Tourism of Saint Lucia, Ernest Hilaire has been continuously making efforts in order to elevate the tourism sector of the island nation with a vision to promote economic growth. Under his leadership, the island nation has also witnessed the arrival of thousands of passengers which shows the unwavering commitment and dedication of the authority towards offering all the travellers with the best facilities.
