Saint Lucia: Health Ministry informs the temporary closure of clinics
Saint Lucia: Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs has informed that the Primary Care Cuban Eye Clinic will resume its outpatient services from December 7, 2022

                                                    Saint Lucia: Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs has informed that the Primary Care Cuban Eye Clinic will resume its outpatient services from December 7, 2022, to facilitate the movement of the clinic to the Victoria Hospital from the Millennium Heights Medical Complex. The Ministry further outlined that all outpatient eye services will resume at the Victoria Hospital on Monday, December 12, 2022.
While informing about the temporary closure of two clinics during the month of December, the Ministry stated that appointments would be rescheduled as per the convenience of the patients. It further outlined that the persons with appointments during the period of closure will be notified via telephone of their new appointment dates.
According to the update by the Ministry, the clinic closed its services on December 5, 2022.
It also apologized to the people for any inconvenience and appreciated their patience as they relocated the eye care services to continue delivering quality eye care for all.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Health informed about the temporary closure of the Gros Islet Polyclinic Pharmacy. The Ministry of Health informed the public that the Pharmacy at the Gros Islet Polyclinic would be closed from December 9 (Friday) to December 30, 2022.
The Ministry of Health regrets any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause and appreciates the patience during this time. It added that the public could access pharmacy services at the other pharmacies closest to their community.
