The prices of Gasoline, Diesel, Kerosene as well as Propane liquid petroleum have been raised by the government. These new hiked prices would only be in effect today onwards (December 16, 2021).

Kingston, Jamaica: The prices of Gasoline, Diesel, Kerosene as well as Propane liquid petroleum have been raised by the government. These new hiked prices would only be in effect today onwards (December 16, 2021).
Automotive diesel fuel witnessed a hike of $3.03, to which it would now be sold at the price of $156.96 per litre, whereas ultra-low sulphur diesel is up by $3.03, which now be sold at $164.21 per litre.
The price of Kerosene has been increased by $3.06 and will be available for the citizens for $137.48 per litre.
Meanwhile, 87 and 90 octane gasoline would be sold for – $162.25 and $167.70 per litre, respectively, both witnessing a rise by $3.06.
The Propane liquid petroleum up by $0.98 and would be sold for – $71.29 per litre and butane liquid petroleum would now be sold for $80.78 per litre after an increase of $0.25.
Earlier this month, only the price of gasoline, Kerosene and diesel saw a decrease, consecutively two times.
Gasoline prices in other Caribbean countries are as follows:
- Antigua and Barbuda – US $1.019 per litre.
- Cuba – US $1.200 per litre.
- Dominica – the US $0.918 litre.
- Haiti – US $0.535 per litre.
- The Bahamas – the US $1.935 per litre.
- Barbados – US $1.957 per litre.
Diesel price in the other Caribbean countries:
- Antigua and Barbuda – US $0.994 per litre.
- Cuba – US $ 1.000 per litre.
- Dominica – US $0.522 per litre.
- Haiti – US $ 0.450 per litre.
- The Bahamas – the US $ 1.233 per litre.
- Barbados – US $1.625 per litre.

- Antigua and Barbuda – US $1.019 per litre.
- Cuba – US $ 1.200 per litre.
- Dominica – US $ 1.272 per litre.
- Haiti – US $0.535 per litre.
