President Ali pays final condolences to the late Majeed Hussain
President of Guyana, Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, paid his final condolences to the late PPP Central Committee Member, Majeed Hussain.

Guyana: President of Guyana, Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, paid his final condolences to the late PPP Central Committee Member, Majeed Hussain.

President Ali, along with top Government officials and other party members, gathered at Freedom House on Robb Street, where the party song was sung before Mr. Hussain’s body was taken to Cummings Lodge for burial.
Who was Majeed Hussain to President Ali?
The loss of a human is not only the loss of a being, but it is the loss of a relationship that holds a special place for anyone. President Ali refers to Majeed Hussain as a “friend and brother.” He directed that there are no words that can describe their relationship. This is a significant loss for the political party and a great loss for him. He always had a back to President. There was not a moment that Majeed Hussain did not have Prez back throughout his political development.

He did point to particular examples where Majeed stood up for him. In every corner of this country, he can assure you that Majeed is known because of his love; first of all, for life, his love for humanity, government, and his passion for community. And in expressing his love for all of this, he loved, he cared, and he kept the People’s Progressive Party as his most exceptional love, and he appreciated the party.” President Ali also revealed Comrade Majeed’s optimistic attitude and how he encompassed every task with exaltation and dignity.
