New COVID-19 guidelines issued for tourists in St. Kitts and Nevis

The government of St Kitts and Nevis has introduced one of the strictest travel protocols due to COVID-19.

According to the St Kitts Tourism Authority, only vaccinated travelers are going to be welcomed into the country, supported a replacement policy that needs tourists, including those from us, be vaccinated with either a two-dose vaccine, just like the Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna, or AstraZeneca shots, or one dose vaccine, as Johnson & Johnson shot.

Before coming to the island, the travelers must have their second dose before 2 weeks before starting their journey to the island.

The children of 18 or under will be exempted from all test and requirements if they are accompanied by the fully vaccinated parents or guardians.

Travelling to St Kitt’s and Nevis, the travel should have a vaccination certificate with the negative COVID-19 PCR test report produced 72hrs before starting the journey.

The tourist for 1 week has to stay in the hotels approved by the tourism authority of a country or in the vacation place where they can roam about freely in t place while using all things over there. The tourism authority announced this for the upcoming tourists to the island.

Including this most advanced step, St. Kitts and Nevis secure destinations are welcoming immunized tourists everywhere globally, including many in the Caribbean, such as the British Virgin Islands and the Bahamas.
St Kitts and Nevis have reported 68 cases of coronavirus with no death and out of which 45 recovered updates of 28 May 2021

During the pandemic, the twin-island federation of St. Kitts and Nevis has been reported 74 infections and 0 death related to coronavirus.

According to the reports of WHO in Saint Kitts and Nevis, from 3 January 2020 to 5 June 2021, there have been 78 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 0 deaths. As of 27 May 2021, a total of 24,297 vaccine doses have been administered to St.Kitts and Nevis.
