Ministry of Tourism welcomes MV Disney Magic Cruise to Dominica
Ministry of Tourism of the Commonwealth of Dominica has recently welcomed MV Disney Magic of Disney Cruise Line.

Roseau, Dominica: The Ministry of Tourism of the Commonwealth of Dominica has recently welcomed MV Disney Magic of Disney Cruise Line earlier this week on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. The cruise ship was docked on the Roseau Cruise Ship Berth.
Through this cruise ship, the island nation of the Caribbean region welcomed and hosted around 3,350 passengers and crew members.
The update regarding the cruise ship was shared by the Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica. It noted, “Dominica, on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, welcomed the MV Disney Magic of Disney Cruise Line at the Roseau Cruise Ship Berth. The ship has a capacity of 3,350 (passengers and crew).”
According to the update, Disney Magic is a family-oriented ship with an array of activities for children’s involvement.
The Dominican authorities have also outlined that a number of activities were planned to welcome the ship, including a welcome ceremony, cultural performances and live performances from local bands.
It further expressed pleasure and pride that the previous cruise season gathered many guests in the country, approximately 71 percent more than the 2021-2022 season. “The 2022/2023 Cruise Season has been deemed a success, with over 244,265 visitors, an increase of 71% over the previous season,” the government conveyed.
The Ministry of Tourism also extended its gratitude and expressed thanks towards the cruise line for choosing Dominica. While sharing the ‘good news from Dominica,’ the Tourism Ministry mentioned, “The MV Disney Magic of Disney Cruise Line had its inaugural call in Dominica at the Roseau Cruise Ship Berth on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, marking the end of the cruise season in style!”
Further, it outlined that the nation has concluded the season in a magical way. In addition, it extended thanks and stated, “Thank you to Disney Cruise Line for choosing Dominica as a destination for your cruise passengers to explore! We can’t wait to welcome the cruise back for more unforgettable adventures in the next cruise season!”
