L’Express des Îles launches ‘The RUBY EXPRESS’ to boost Caribbean connectivity and tourism

Roseau, Dominica: L’Express des lles has unveiled its brand-new ferry, “The RUBY EXPRESS” which is all set to offer exclusive services to Dominica for visitors that are travelling from Guadeloupe, Martinique, and Saint Lucia to the Nature Island.
The RUBY EXPRESS is a high-speed catamaran and is a part of the FRS GROUP which is 60 meters long and boasts a capacity of 428 seats. The ferry will play a huge role in enhancing the tourism sector of the island nation by offering a significant boost in passenger comfort.
The high-speed catamaran promises to enhance the travel comfort of all its passengers by offering them with spacious design and modern amenities. Also, the ferry, offers an upgraded business-class section for those who are seeking a more luxurious experience. This section features extra comfort, more spacious seating and additional amenities, including refreshments, making the journey even more enjoyable and comfortable.
Recently, the RUBY EXPRESS did a test run to Saint Lucia, arriving at Port Castries where local company representatives along with Ports officials got to tour and inspect the vessel. This vessel has been designed with a vision to provide a smooth and efficient travel experience, connecting travellers from Guadeloupe, Martinique, Dominica and Saint Lucia to various destinations with ease.
While shedding light on these services, the Tourism Ministry of Dominica, noted that it would play a huge role in bringing large number of tourists to the country. And, with the arrival of large number of tourists, the other sectors of the nation would witness immense growth and advancements.
The authority continued to say that tourism being the backbone of the country plays a huge role in enhancing the economic conditions of the nation. They noted that the visitors who will travel to Dominica from various regions will also get a benefit to visit hotspot destinations of the island nation.
Moreover, the authorities also promised to make the time of the passengers on board memorable and enhance their overall experience of their visit to Dominica. They also remarked that their visit will play a huge role in providing platform to the local citizens to showcase and sell their locally produced goods and services and generate huge amount of revenues for the nation.
They noted that the visitors will also get a chance to explore the vibrant culture and traditions of the country. And, they stated that with these services of Ruby Express to Dominica they are hoping to boost the revenue of the economy, creates several jobs, develop infrastructure of country and foster cultural exchange.
