Jamaica: Prime Minister of Jamaica Andrew Holness paid his tributes to Justice Paul Harrison, Jamaica’s outstanding judge and former President of the Court of Appeal.
Prime Minister of Jamaica Andrew Holness wrote, he is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of Jamaica’s outstanding judges and former President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Paul Harrison.
Furthermore, Prime Minister of Jamaica Andrew Holness added that Justice Harrison, who died the previous day, gave Jamaica an outstanding service in the state’s critical arm, the judiciary, and the legal profession for more than 45 years. Justice Paul Harrison was President of the Court of Appeal from 2005-2007.
Prime Minister of Jamaica stated Justice Harrison was always scrupulous about his job. He exuded a sense of dignity and passion for the profession, which will not be forgotten.
Additionally, Justice Paul Harrison has made an invaluable contribution to the legal system in Jamaica, and even after retirement, answered the call to serve on Commissions.
Prime Minister of Jamaica extended his condolences to the close ones, friends, and members of the judiciary and legal profession on the passing of Justice Harrison. May his soul Rest In Peace.
