Castries, Saint Lucia: The volunteers of the dog shelter – HelpAWS, praised and lauded the owner – Charlene, for her hard work and dedication. The volunteers appreciated the owner for her love towards the fur babies – dogs and cats.
The message by the organisation read as follows:
Dear Charlene,
You have been on a mission to bring change to the lives of the animals on the island. You have touched so many hearts and brought incredible joy to so many families.
Everyone who knows you or knows of your journey feels your love and commitment to your cause.
A voice for the voiceless and hope for the hopeless.
You have overcome so many challenges
Fixed so many broken hearts
Restored the life of so many broken fur babies
And you have never given up on them, not once.
You may be facing your biggest challenge yet
But you’re not alone,
You have an army behind you
Both humans and fur babies
So fight this battle with the same strength you had for all of us, and if it ever feels like it’s too much, take strength from us and know that we’re right beside you whenever you need us.
This is just another stepping stone in your already incredible journey, so now we ask that you do what you do best:
Never give up!
