A shocking incident has been reported in Grenada where seven decomposed dead bodies have been discovered in a vessel drifting near Carriacou on December 12, 2021.
The dead bodies were recovered by Royal Grenada Police Force. The dead bodies were of five adults, males and females, and two children who were fully clothed.
As per the statement of the police authorities, the officers who were assigned to the Northern Division reacted to a report of a drifting vessel in the vicinity of Gun Point, Carriacou.
The officers immediately retrieved the boat, after which it toured to Harvey Vale by the Grenada Coast Guard.
The investigation has been started by the police authorities. Royal Grenada Police Force cited that “Specialised units of the force are presently analysing personal effects and devices found onboard the vessel“, after which they would be able to provide any information or update.
While various predictions are being made, which says the dead bodies must have been on the vessel for an extended period of time.
There are high chances that the boat must have been drifted from either Africa or Haiti. The boat on which these decomposed dead bodies have been recovered was of green (outside) and blue colour (on the inside).
Meanwhile, this incident has left people around the globe in astonishment. However, this is not the first time that this type of incident has been witnessed.
