Jamaica: Due to the increasing number of coronavirus, the federation of Jamaica has extended travel halts on flights arriving in the Jamaica from the UK until Sunday, January 31, 2021.

Besides, all non-Jamaicans who have been in the UK within the last 14 days before the planned landing date in Jamaica, who may seek to enter the island through another country, will not be sanctioned to invade Jamaica.
Minister of Health & Wellness, Dr. the Hon. Christopher Tufton stated that “The Ministry of Health & Wellness is analyzing the present scenario in the UK, including the results of virological investigations tests, while adjusting for a supposed surge in local cases of coronavirus. These factors will determine the Ministry’s reference concerning the lifting of the travel ban.”

Another Facebook user wrote, “That’s good PM was just sent a video of my fellow Jamaicans partying in London; they were all dancing Skin to skin bumper to bumper, and the verbal messages were nothing I would repeat. We are a nation lost YES! I said that.”
Facebook User Debbie Doha advised, “My thing is to have everyone who is coming to Jamaica enter with a negative COVID-19 test then have them at a designated hotel and do a second COVID-19 test, and if that one comes back negative then you release them and have them do a 3rd covid test day seven and with such plans, people can still visit the airline can continue the business because if this shutdown and open didn’t work try something else so the business can continue otherwise poverty is going to hit way harder than the COVID-19.”
