Frontier Airlines to offer non-stop services to Trinidad thrice a week, enhancing tourism
The internationally recognised, Frontier Airlines is all set to offer its non-stop services from Trinidad and Tobago to Puerto Rico which is effective from 11th July 2024. The airline will provide three-day services in a week with a vision to meet the anticipated surge in travel demand.

The airline will provide three-day services in a week with a vision to meet the anticipated surge in travel demand.
The expansion of the airline services will create vast travel options for the visitors, ensuring their visit memorable and comfortable. According to the details, the airline will offer its non-stop services on days namely, Sundays, Thursdays and Fridays.
As per the reports, the flight number F9281 will take off from Puerto Rico’s Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport at 12:11 pm and will arrive in Trinidad’s Piarco International Airport at 2:02 pm. Meanwhile, the return flight with number F9280 will depart at 3:14 pm from Port of Spain and will arrive San Juan, Puerto Rico at 5:07 pm.
Frontier Airline has been providing services to 11 Caribbean destinations and after the announcement of non-stop services to Trinidad and Tobago, it becomes the 12th Caribbean Island where the airline will operate.
The General Manager of the Airport Authority of Trinidad and Tobago, Hayden Newton expressed delight and stated that “these services will increase the ease with which they connect travellers to the world.”
Frontier Airlines is a subsidiary of Frontier Group Holdings Inc., and its vision of offering affordable travel to visitors is accomplished through the use of the Airbus A320 family aircraft. The airline recently established UpFront Plus initiative which offers upgraded and better seating options in order to enhance the comfort of the travellers.
The services of the airline to the island nation will play a significant role in enhancing and deepening the relationship between airlines and the country. It will further enhance the connectivity between them which will directly uplift the airlift sector, leading to generate huge amount of revenues.
The introduction of non-stop services between Trinidad and Tobago and Puerto Rico is also likely to witness a huge growth in the tourism sector of the country, improving economic conditions of the island nation.
